高西先生（西高校）から９月METSのお知らせが届きました。

Hello, METS members!



This Month's Contents

Mr. Adam Smith(Hakodate Future University)



" The AO and Suisen University Entrance Exams "



At the next METS meeting I will talk about high school
students that have been accepted into universities through
the AO or Suisen entrance exams.

Depending on the university, this can be confirmed many months
before the next academic year starts.

Students who think that they no longer need to study can distract
classmates preparing or other entrance exams, and they may find it
difficult to adjust to the demands of university study when classes
finally start in April.

During the meeting I will show you a 'pre-enrolment English course'
that is available to future Future University students on a voluntary
basis.

Although it is primarily designed to help students to prepare for
university life, it is taken by students while they are still at high
school.

I would welcome the comments of high school teachers who teach or
have taught such students, so that the course can be of benefit
to everyone.



Date: Sat, September 26th

Place: Iai Girls’ High School (Hakodate-shi Suginami-cho)

Entrance is on the left side of the building.

Time: 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.



After the fruitful meeting, I’d like to have a party with all participants
and enjoy eating, drinking and talking a lot around Goryokaku.


If you are attending the meeting, RSVP by e-mail by 25th of September (Fri).


The concept of our meeting is invariably one that is made by and for the
participants. As such, we invite all of you to generously share your
ideas, for therein lies the secret to our success. Of course, each
fruitful meeting is followed by a party where all can eat, drink and talk
to their hearts content. So please come and join in. New faces are always
welcome, so why not bring a friend?
