A Happy New Year!



We have a great guest speaker for the first Mets of this year, too.

His name is Jun Nakagawa, who works for Ritumeikan Keisho J/S High
School and organizes Sapporo Mets as well as Jozankei Mets.

He is like ideas of gold mine; He knows a lot of creative teaching
ideas for English classes.

I’m sure you will acquire something new through his workshop.

“Step By Step Phases of Output Activities”



Speaking is probably the skill area in which Japanese students are least
confident.

There’s more to communication than just grammar. So how does one even
begin to tackle the seemingly insurmountable task of speaking in foreign
languages?

All you need is right approach! Here I’d like you to experience a series
of speaking activities.

They can be easily implemented into your daily lesson and, believe it or not,
they work!

Building on the material from the previous lesson and employing sentence
structure from You Tube, you will be surprised how much your students can do!

Entrance is on the left side of the building. *Time: 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.*



Last year, we, Hakodate Mets could make a good start with Rintaro sensei’s
fantastic workshop.

Also, we are very happy that more people than usual gottogether there.

So, why don't we bring our friends and enjoy full-of-ideas Jun sensei’s
presentation together on January 28th?

After the fruitful meeting, I’d like to have a casual and enjoyable party
somewhere in Goryokaku.
