Hakodate Mets is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading – through our
monthly English meeting at Iai Girls’ J/S HS. Mets provides chances all the
participants “discoveries.”

- How to make your staff highly motivated -
Hello, everyone! I’m Katsuyoshi Adachi. The pronunciation of Adachi is
similar to the English word “attach”. Besides, my strong point is attaching
one person to another to help with motivation. So you can call me “Mr.
Attach!”
I am the presenter in February. I’m the president of Hakodate J.H.S.
English Teachers’ Association. I’m also the principal at Asahioka Junior
High School. First, I’d like to introduce my short presentation in English
for all of the students in our school.
Also, I’ll show you an effective way of linking up with elementary, junior, and
senior high schools. Why don’t you share it with the teachers in Hakodate
city? To close, I’ll give you my favorite saying, “Iron can sharpen iron. In
the same way, people can help each other.”
I’m looking forward to seeing you.
After the fruitful meeting, I’d like to have a party with all participants
and enjoy eating, drinking and talking a lot around Goryokaku. I look
forward to seeing all of you.
The concept of our meeting is invariably one that is made by and for the
participants. As such, we invite all of you to generously share your
ideas, for therein lies the secret to our success. Of course, each
fruitful meeting is followed by a party where all can eat, drink and talk
to their hearts content. So please come and join in. New faces are always
welcome, so why not bring a friend?
Date: Sat, February 21st
Place: Iai High School (Hakodate-shi Suginami-cho)
Entrance is on the left side of the building.
Time: 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
